Bansko is a skiing resort, in the southwestern part of the country, right where the Pirin mountain begins. Pirin’s beauty is pristine, shown off at any time of the year. The windows of most hotels look out on the most noteworthy sites and unfold landscapes that spellbind.
There is an abundance of lakes around Bansko, but its most sought attraction is the abundance of ski slopes. That is a relatively new resort, but for nine years of existence as a skiing destination it has taken a multitude of travelers by storm with its conditions.
There is one more feature which makes Bansko appealing: its marvelous climate with auspicious conditions for vacations at any time. The skiing season finishes by mid April, but tourists find plenty of occupations in any season.
